TV personality and rapper Boity Thulo announced on her social media accounts that she would be dropping her debut EP titled #4436.
The release is set for Friday 4 December and she shared that she was very excited for Mzansi to hear her work.
She took to social media to voice out how she was feeling ahead of the release of her project: “The timing could not be more perfect! I’m so proud of this body of work and I’m very excited for you all to hear it!” said Boity.
When Boity first embarked on her journey of rap, many said that she would not last. Some even went as far as calling her a one-hit-wonder but now she’s shown she’s all about business after her announcement.
Mzansi social media users reacted to the news about #4436 and had some comments ahead of its release:
@Culhane_98 said: “Congratulations Boity and I’m so happy and ready to be receiving a body of work from you. But I couldn’t be more disappointed that you still don’t believe in yourself that much to let a label convince you that your work isn’t good enough to be album mode, instead call it a EP?”
@Rumocheezehead said: “This EP will surpass Nadia nakai’s whole discography.”
@NyeteP commented: “Thought I saw Beyoncé for a minute there. We love it. You look beautiful.”
@Cinnamon_Guy_ said: “Doesn’t your back hurt? You’ve been carrying SA rap music on your back, with only two songs. Queen.”
@Alpha_Mero25 commented: “This will solidify your position in the rap game. I’m glad you’ve finally decided to bless us with this one.”
